Hello, My name is Drew Malabre and I come from a very small town on the south shore of Long Island called Quogue. I grew up playing lots of video games and spending an incredible amount of time on the water where I eventually learned how to sail and surf. I have always been heavily interested in programming and coding and in high-school, began to learn C#, Javascript, as well as HTML. I began using the Unity Engine in high-school as well, and have become more proficient using the engine in college. I was also a member of the high-school FIRST Robotics Team, 3171, which competed in complex robotic and engineering competitions for young adults.

My family and friends have always been my strongest support system as well as always inspiring me to create something new and incredible. They drive me everyday to do my best and work the hardest for the goals that I want to achieve. I have been incredibly thankful to live in such a small town with my family around me for support whenever I need. 

 

I have also had lots of experience teaching difficult subjects to young children as I have spent much time employed as a sailing instructor at a local yacht club back home. I teach ages five and up as well as older students ranging from ages fifteen to twenty. I also have experience in the medical field and served as a Volunteer EMT at the local ambulance as well as extensive travel throughout the globe.

This has provided me with a unique outlook on life as well as my decision making processes. I have been fortunate and privileged enough to experience things that many others in the U.S. may never see. Spanning nearly a 1/3 of the globe in my short 22 years, I have adapted many aspects of these cultures into my everyday life, often times choosing to learn the native language.
